LIVING OUR FAITH.

Christianity is more of a lifestyle than a title.We feel good whenever we are given chance to address people in church gatherings. We even testify our faith. Do we still introduce ourselves as Christians to people who do not know us? In most cases, we don't even care to tell our friends about this Christianity that we proclaim.The word of God tells us that we are the city on a hill that can be seen from far.We should be able to emit light.When we are interacting with nonbelievers, they should see the light in us

Being a Christian call for more than the name that we bear.As sons of the kingdom, we ought to live the faith that we profess.How do we live our faith? The word of God teaches us about love and it expounds that if we do not love our neighbors then we do not love God.when you love the person that you share a matatu to work with every morning, when you love that student whom you sit next to in the classroom then you love God. On the contrary, many "Christian" love only their fellow Christians.That is not a measure of love for Christians because even pagans love their fellow pagans.God demonstrated his unbound love by giving out his only son to die on the cross for our sins.The same way Jesus did to us we should also lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

The Holy Bible says that we should not judge others, but you find the so called Christians busy giving stories on what so and so has done, judging them from what they see.It's not the work of human beings to judge.Our major priority is to love one another and share the word of God. Love is the greatest commandment that Jesus emphasized to Christians.I believe that if we loved one another with compassion we could be living in a very secure and lovely environment.

Christianity is not about going to church on Sunday or attending fellowships with brethren.These practices are very important for our spiritual growth, but that is not the measure of our faith.We ought to do more. When preaching the word of God our actions should speak louder than our mouth.After interacting with someone, he or she should be able to understand that you are born again. peter was following Jesus after he was captured. God is more pleased with our actions more than what we say. That's why the Bible says that Faith without action is dead.We should live our Faith.
