SOUL SEARCHING

At some points in our lives we desire to know our identity amidst of our friends. We desire to be identified as the best praise worshiper, best pastor, best intercessor, best leader and the list goes on .We seek our identity. However, when the titles are not forthcoming in our lives, we become disappointed and we even develop low self-esteem which affect our worship. It simply means that soul searching is very critical in our lives.

God created us with a reason and purpose. In everything we do, we desire to achieve something tangible, which is a very noble spirit. We have to identify the things that God has put in us. Remember, God has given each one of us some work to do on Earth.

After this life is over, we shall give an account of the work that God entrusted us with. Be it nurturing, preaching, spreading the word through singing, helping the needy and all the areas that God has assigned us. However, sometimes we do not do a soul searching to realize what god has given us.

On the contrary, we try to emulate other people who are already in their work, ministry. To realize your work, you start by giving God the Chance to use you. Surrender yourself to Him and he shall surely assign you some work.

Luke 10:2
He told them,” The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his field…”

It all starts by the desire to be used by God in his work. God is waiting for you because he has some work to assign to you regardless of your level of spiritual maturity. Soul searching is very critical for every Christian.
God favored.
